At the
Ynys Lodge No 2982, held at the Station Hotel, Ynyshir, on Friday 19 December 1947, Bros Tom H Woodward and Tom R Woodward
were raised to Knights of the Order of Merit by Bro Austin Savile ROH PPGP. These Brothers formed part of a quadruple Third
Degree ceremony which included Bros Tom Rhydderch and Len Pugh.

Woodward were the father and grandfather of Bro Terry Woodward
